Festival of the lights in OSAKA

Concept and Overview

The seventh annual illumination welcomes all.

Osaka joins together to create a circle of light. Once again, with a heartfelt welcome, Osaka presents its annual Festival of the lights. In addition to two core programs, “Midosuji Illumination” which beautifully colors Osaka's iconic Midosuji Ave., and “OSAKA Hikari-Renaissance,” an artistic festival of light held in Nakanoshima, events in other areas of Osaka Prefecture are expanding making nights in Osaka brighter and more fantastic. Festival of the lights in Osaka is now in its seventh year. Don’t miss Osaka's winter traditions, which can only be experienced at this time of year.
