Kuroda Taizo Special Exhibition
A special exhibition by Kuroda Taizo; known worldwide for his serene white ceramic pieces. Around 60 ceramic pieces from Kuroda Taizo are exhibited, with a focus on the collections belonging to the ISE Cultural Foundation and The Museum of Oriental Ceramics (Osaka).

Osaka Prefectural Nakanoshima Library "Japanese Fude-Pen Calligraphy Course"
This course involves a range of fude brush-pen based activities including how to artfully write Japanese script, how to write your favorite Japanese words or phrases onto postcards or traditional Japanese style paper, how to make seasonal or New Year's greetings cards, or how to create other small pieces that can be used for interior decorations. As a finishing touch, you will then be able to stamp it using an elegant Japanese seal. Feel the joy of writing by hand free from the boundaries of calligraphy frames.

Christmas Pops Concert
A group from the Osaka University of Arts hold a special concert in the Osaka Central Public Hall.
This is a single-evening concert through which the students display their passion for music along with the fruits of their music education.

Bank of Japan Osaka Branch Lighted up
The Bank of Japan Osaka Branch, which has a beautiful neo-baroque appearance, is lit up. Large-scale lighting makes a heavy stone building appear white in the night view.

Tsuyuten Shrine Light-Up
he Tsuyuten Shrine, which was once the setting for Chikamatsu Monzaemon's play "The Love Suicides at Sonezaki", is adorned with a special lighting-display at the Torii gate in addition to a specially illuminated hall of worship, giving the shrine a completely different atmosphere to its normal appearance.

Christmas illumination
A candy cane-like stripe that weaves in the peacock color, which is also the symbol color of Daimaru, appears. This year's Christmas season theme is "HO HO HOLIDAYS". Please enjoy the decoration with such a feeling that you want to enjoy the holiday season full of laughter.

Lights that illuminate the city of Shinsaibashi
Since the rebuilding grand opening in September last year, the lights of the Vories architecture on the Midosuji side that illuminate the city of Shinsaibashi. We received the "2019 Japan Lighting Award" and "2019 Lighting Promotion Award" from the Lighting Society of Japan. In addition, from 18:00 to 21:00 on November 17th (Tuesday), a special projection mapping for one night will be produced on the outer wall of Shinsaibashi PARCO, and you can enjoy it on a magnificent screen.
